Tomato Salsa Salad


I'm not sure if this a salad or a salsa – all I know is that this Tomato Salsa Salad is EASY and delicious and is always a hit at our dinner table!


INGREDIENTS
5 ripe tomatoes
1 red onion
3 gloves garlic, peeled
Fresh basil leaves – about 8-10
Splash of olive oil
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION
1. Chop the tomatoes very small.

2. Chop the onion very, very finely.

3. Mince the garlic.

4. Chop the basil leaves finely.

5. Mix everything together and add a splash of olive oil, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.

6. Let sit for about an hour before serving so that all the flavours meld together
