Tomato Soup Recipe

This is the easiest Tomato Soup Recipe ever!

This has got to be the simplest soup recipe you can make and it is delicious! It takes just minutes to make and it is a guaranteed crowd pleaser!

1 onion, chopped
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 carrot, thinly sliced
10 large, ripe tomatoes, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Sauté the onion and carrot in the olive oil until they are softened – about 5 minutes. Add all the tomatoes and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. If you really want to go overboard, add some fresh basil.
