Pasta Stew

1 cup of cold cooked elbow macaroni or spaghetti

1 chopped onion
1 diced carrot
2 chopped tomatoes
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 tbsp. butter
pepper and salt to taste

Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the vegetables. Add water to cover and cook until soft. Add salt and pepper. Add the pasta and serve with grated cheese over top.
